Let it snow

Well we picked up 4 inches so far in hte last couple of hours and are expecting another 8 more or so in the next 24

Pretty rare for us to get that much due to being on the Atlantic (we get all that warm water from down south). Nothing much for some people, it is going to be a darn state of emergency here LOL

Fortunately Wawa (think 7-11 but clean, with a full blown Deli and decent prices) is right across the street :))

Not good benching weather though, since I sold my i7... plus it is about 5-10 degrees warmer than it has been (snow always brings warmer air for some reason)

Is it really a state of emergency right now?
Make sure you clean out Wawa before the roads get impassable.

Ah sweet Amish country, I take it your a "English" LOL

Yah lots of snow here is rare. It s nice and really kinda warm. Little blustery, 30MPH, wear shades if you go out for a walk :)

They were no longer serving breakfast so making some flapjacks now than going to go shovel the driveway and bring some wood in the house incase we lose power :) (doubtful)

No state of emergency yet, just winter storm warnings and flooding warnings. Might not be cold enough to get a SOE. They are calling for 12-18" now though.

Just cleaned off about 6-8" from the driveway... and it started coming down HARD with frozen rain in the mix yuck

Buffalo got 18 inches last week, and it has already all melted. But it got much colder today like -8°C so maybe some benching tonight

Neuromancer 12-19-2009 03:28 PM

Over a foot now, maybe 14" inches weatherman says expect another 5-9" its still coming down hard too.

I shoveled earlier today and then again at six PM maybe 4 hours inbetween cleanings and there was a good 4-5" accumulation.
