hi all i just got a SLGFD is a P8600 intel M CPU and i don't know if is working or not this is a 478-pin chip and WILL fit in the socket, and i DO have a BIOSTAR P4M900-M4 and is DDR2 ram based motherboard
when i put the chip in the board and all the cable in
when i try turn it on it just flash the lights and turn right off
idk what's up with that
any idea how to test a cpu that's working or not?:Dizzy:

also i picked up a XPS dell system and when i try to power on it just flash the [CAPS] lights system will not power when on batt and ac from wall, not even the fan....
i have reseted the CMOS and nothing....
any ideas? guys/\............:Dizzy:

same psu on both machines?

CPU heatsink not seated well and system shutting down due to the CPU getting too hot? On both, could happen I guess.

the dell is a laptop and the 478 is a disktop board
and when i was testing the 478 with the P8600 i was using the psu from my main system that i am typing on right now:blush:

system will not even power on it will just flash and nothing
shouldn't be overheating because system is not even power on at all
i seems like the computer is in some kind of mode that's keeping it from powering on:Dizzy:

if any one know....
what is the difference between 132-BL-E758-TR and 132-BL-E758-A1?
A1=1year
TR=?
or should i even go that 132 rout?

Were they advertised as Classified an he sent you a 758?

I flaggged a guys auctions for that. Picture of a Classys but the part number of a 758.
Retarted ebay left them all end too 6 or so. I was thinkin to myself sum1 is going to be pissed when that arrive. Their is another guy selling the 758 with a pic of a 758 an still calling it a classy.:thumbdown:

the guy just took the money and took off didn't ship anything out at all it's been 6 something days now nothing coming back no reply email/messanges :thumbdown:

Their is alot of fraud on eBay lately. In July I sold a working Ps3 with games an headset for $300. Guy gets it an makes paypal claim it don't work. So Im like send it back. Guy sends me back tile. An since their was a confirmed delivery to me. PayPal refunds him his money.

So I was out a Ps3 an $300. I appealed Made a police report ect still they denied me. Even thow their is an open case with Michigan state police, maryland state police an a paypal investigator WTF! Then I had some buyers of a cpu I had that hacked some accounts to buy it an paypal held transactions uh a nightmare..... Paypal protects Fraudulent people not sellers
