My dad told me he was getting rid of his old computer....so me being me (a huge dork :green8:) I told him to give it to me becuase i wanted to take it apart and see what type of hardware was behind this monster hee hee

Very interesting hardware Rogue. Trippy how that one card is a pci expansion slot. And that hdd loooks nutterz.
Have you made a spec list yet? I'd like to see what make/model of each part is. |

I also have two PCs like theese. Mine are: Pentium 133mhz + 2x16MB EDO ram, HDD is 2Gb, as for the GPU it is a Matrox(at least i think) It can run WIN 95 and even internet ! i still have these two PCs at home, one is working...

Yah thats old school EDO SIMMs, which last time I saw made a nice upgrade for my Laser printer (5 years ago)
ISA and PCI cards so its not that old :) Interesting looking heatink on the motherboard... do not think I have ever seen that before (assuming that is what it is) Those quantum bigfoot 5.25" hdds are beasts, very heavy but last forever I have seen more than a few in my time. Interested to see if you can find a model number on that motherboard. looks like it might have a CPU slot for it as well. |
