Found this threw that link. You may have seen it. Alleged Bench results for the 470 http://www.bit-tech.net/bits/events/...-more/comments
Yesss...germany based Heise.de has just a bit more info, but not a lot. Read if you know more German than "ich-bin-ein-bit-techer" :D Heise Fermi article They received Benchmark values for the GTX 470 Bios set to: Shader Core 1255Mhz GDDR5 (read-write-clock) 1600Mhz 3D Mark Vantage (X-Mode) GTX 470 7511 points HD5870 8730 points HD5850 6430 points GTX 285 6002 points 3D Mark Vantage (Performance mode) GTX 470 17156 points HD5870 17303 points HD5850 14300 points Unigine benchmark 4x AA GTX 470 29fps HD5870 27fps HD5850 22fps Unigine benchmark 8x AA GTX 470 20fps HD5870 23fps HD5850 19fps |
They basically have been using some of the same GPUs in 8000, 9000, 200, and 300 series, with nearly no difference between them. 3 years is a long time to be recycling the same thing
