Best Rad for $100
Here is the problem, as most of you know I'm having a hard trouble overclocking a 920 past 4.5ghz. I believe it could be my single 120 rad thats holding it back
What rad would be best for $100 ? |
get 2 MCr320s in that price range :)
I am not normally a Black Ice fan... but have had some pretty impressive results with the one I got from CP. http://www.koolertek.com/computer-pa...r-202p1042.htm $130 new.. used I am sure you can find it for half that.. Addon some 38MM fans and you should be good to go. Fro 120.3 thermochill or the fessers I believe are best performance. (not sure on Fesser prices I know I have seen thermochills on other forums at $100 or less though) |
there's a 480 going for $110 over at ocn
Would that be ok? |
Yea I would grab it for that ......
Maybe offer 100 flat ... they are 150 new |
I'll send him a pm
|
here is a quadruple http://microcenter.com/single_produc...uct_id=0320831
$74.99 + tax & shipping http://microcenter.com/images/shared...831_390161.jpg |
wow great find gutterz!
that will leave me enough for a few fans Just need to see who wants to pick one up for me |
MCR is a the same as the 320... no benefit from higher power fans so for a silent rig it is good
and still gets its ass kicked by a thermochill 3 fan rad im sure... but.. I saw someone with a mcr320 and a 2x120 radon the same loop claiming 38C delta between water and CPU temp at laod... so its not all about the rads... block and mount is MOST important... guess I am doing okay there :) |
i have a gtx 480....i'll sell it to yah for 100$ :D free shipping :)
