bartX pots
Anyone used his pots before?
http://www.bartxstore.cba.pl/ Contacted him for prices and seems pretty reasonable considering the weight. Pot 2.0E costs 80€ + 22€ shipping Pot 2.0M costs 120€ + 34€ shipping Pot 2.0H costs 160€ + 39€ shipping (times 1.37 for USD) comes to about $140 for E and $200 for the M. H is way up there at $280 |
H dont look to great, to me it seems like they took to much mass out. I think I may make one myself I know plenty of people in machine shops.

I think those are great pots. I know Chew has one he uses from time to time and loves it.

Rich, would you like this moved to the sub-zero section? The cold spot is for VIP access only.

A sure...
Thats probably a good idea thx |
Just for the info - some scores using my pots ;) About 2.0H - maybe you didn't notice it, but outer holes are connected with center hole which provides very good distribution of ln2. I you think that surface area is a bit to small, will be improved in next rev. for sure ;)

i would really like to try your pots..but they're too high....cbb fight would be difficult...
|
I can make custom projects too. You mean, that you rather want solid design, about 15 cm, because it's easier to use torch to warm up the pot? ;) If so, there is no problem.

Hey sorry Bartek.
Was looking for an objective opinion. Your pots certainly look good by specs... I am kinda new to all of this so wanted a worldly viewpoint :) IE some that has used Vinces pots and Dunileks. and could compare the differences for me $200 is kinda a big investment for cooling and TBH one I should not be doing..so getting a 2 M is a big step for me... (Especially since I just learned you dont just fill the pot with DIce lol and more importantly WOW acetone is so much better than 99% isopropyl :p) |
