3870 Crossfire OC question
 

Need some help quick if anyone knows ...

I am trying to ln2 2x 3870's in crossfire tonight and I can only get the clocks to stick on one of them.

Riva and afterburner, and overdrive all do the same thing, first gpu gets the oc and the other stays stock???

did you try unlocking Overdrive in CCC? Or maybe setting clocks in CCC then once they arent at stock anymore bumping both with riva?


EDIT: disable crossfire and then you can control both cards via RT, and then you can enable crossfire again.

AHA so you have to adjust the clocks with crossfire disabled!!

Well unfortunately for me you are quite safe lol

One of the cards was a complete pos and I gave up before wasting too much ln2 in a losing battle.

Yeah both of them are modded, one of them is a decent card (~1050 core) and I used that one for some single card stuff. The other one takes a massive dump If I overclock it at all lol.

They were both cheap craigslist cards from different people, sometimes you win sometimes you dont.

I just grabbed 2x 3870's form DiMeLo, both are modded so come early June I will have some results .... hope they are decent.

I am working on stock piling my inventory while I am moving ....... :thumbsup:
