Looks like my webcam will be here thursday...

I got the LN2 already, but I can wait 48 hours... err 36 hours...

Also give me an opportunity to test the storage capability of this device. Want to make sure our superhero is getting a good unit. I think so its been 8 hours already and the outside of the container is cool to the touch. :)

Ustream or livestream? I got great UL speed. (~4Mb/s) Its a cheap cam though think 640x480 res? Says 1280x1024 but apparently you have to hack it... and I wont have time for that...



Screen or system more important? What do you want to see?

play list requests will also be entertained...maybe....if I can remember how to run live audio and streamed audio feeds together. Shouldn't be too difficult. Might need to push off to friday for that TBH.

i dont really care for music during live feeds, it kills the upload sometimes.

Just tell them to load there own music if they cry about it

i want to see the system + the screen since that's what people tune in to see

I'd have to beg your pardon or whatever them yahoo's say. My Fans LOVE the rock music playin on my feed, the bastards leave it up for free music :D. My fans, I kid.



I'd go with livestream and download the procaster after you sign up. It'll take a lil while to fill out the forms but using the procaster makes the image really really clear and viewable. It also doesn't use the IE interface for the upload which makes it more fluid. Did I say it'd take some time to figure out the controls?

Use the procaster to start broadcast then use the web-controls under "Studio" in your account to transition to your live feed.

Setup the cam whichever way you like, play some killer music, don't worry about typing in the chat window until you're a pro cuz if not, you'll end up with a FAIL bench session. :good:

Yeah not worried about the chatting part... kinda why I want the screen in the image... its hard to chat and bench...chatting can be done group style on MSN, and let you guys up date the live chat while im busy not that I expect many to be around..
thinking I can turn my bench monitor a little bit...and get the screen the probe and the setup in one shot. Just cut up a coat hanger for a wire mount on the wall...

Maybe Friday would be better.
