EVGA Classified SR-2 (Super Record 2)

hey guys i know i am really slow on new stuff and all and you guys may already have talked about this

but i just saw this EVGA Classified SR-2 (Super Record 2) board and for real dude it's awesome! but i saw some things on the board i have no idea about and if anyone can maybe explain to me a real quick that'll be awesome!

http://www.evga.com/PRODUCTS/IMAGES/...55-A1_XL_5.jpg
you see how on the motherboard there is alot power sockets, next to each cpu socket there is 1 2x4 and 1 2x3 but on the side of the left socket there is another 2x3 what are the 2x3s? i have never seen those before......
also what if i want to use it do i have to get an adapter for it? because i only got a 850Antec (the yellow one)

oh yeah two more things...
:Dizzy:
is this a server board or is this a real overclocking board like the R3E or the Classified?

i saw this thing have USB3.0 but didn't see anything about it's having SATA3.0
well, dose have SATA3.0 or no?

This is a real overclocking server board. EVGA has a special edition PSU from Antec to handle all teh power requirements, otherwise you will need to run two psu's to cover all the connections. Those extra power connections you see is for each CPU. Most performance X58 mainboards have additional power feeds special for i7 cpu's.

Check out the link on the sidebar for information regarding the sr-2 from EVGA.

The 2x3 as you call it, is better known as a 6-pin PCI-E connector. The additional one below the left socket is for extra power to the PCI-E slots for highly overclocked quad GPU action. The board for sure is an overclocking beast. Look what Shammy and K|ng|n did with it a couple weeks ago.

BTW, EVGA is sponsering an event for the next month for team OCA hwbot members to win one of these beauties. :D

the 6 pin above the pci-e is only required if using slot 4, 5, 6 or 7
