Hey all just hit the buy button on some speakers for the new place

The price was too good to ignore ....

Just wondering if anyone has had exsperience with Polk Audio ?

Total for four speakers and center channel was $ 317

I already have a 600 watt JBL Sub so I am set in that department

they have the matching sub but at a mere 100 watts it would not pack the same punch as my JBL

Any audio files in the crowd to tell me if this was a decent deal and if the speakers are of decent quality ... sure they are not great at these prices ............ :ohcrap:

They had some good car speakers back in the day. Don't keep up much with speaker stuff anymore. Price looks pretty dang good.

Don't know about the puter speakes Doc, but Polk audio makes some bodatious high end audiophile tower speakers :D

Yea Polk has quality stuff and they've been around for a long long while. No doubt you will like them.

I have those same speakers. And they ROCK. They will eventually become my surround speakers once I get some pol towers and center channel :) Don't even need a sub with these puppies :)

Running crappy center surround and sub for now.

Plugged them up and boom they are seriuous spaekers .....

Sound as good as my Pardigm's used too .... :ohcrap:

Almost got the towers they were only 89 a piece ....
