New Cell Phone
OK so I need a new cell phone. my trusty Sanyo flip phone has had it after 6 years of use.
I have tried the LG Rumor 2 and hated it. I can get the Motorola Clutch i465, Palm Pixi, Samsung Reclaim, LG LX 290, Samsung M330, Sanyo SCP-2700, LG Remarq, Blackberry Curve, or HTC Snap. I have Sprint with the 450 everything messaging plan and that works for me. I never use up my minutes, hell I use it for mostly is texting. Thing is to get these phones for free I have to order via the net and I can't see it or feel it or see if my blind ass and fat fingers can see it or use the qwerty. Any suggestions form you guys would be great. So many choices. I just want a phone that I can keep prying eyes and hands away with via security features like my Sanyo SCP 7050. Thanks for any and all suggestions. |
Is there a sprint store in your area, or a radio shack? You could always check out there phones at any of those locations.

I may have to drive to a store. (none close to me) But I was hoping someone may own one of these or recently shopped for one. I know everyone at least owns a cell phone so I hope for the most honest of opinions from here.

Well, browsing in the store the blackberry is pretty nice out of that list. The only thing with all of the phones is the buttons are pretty small so you'd have to feel first-hand if the phone fits for you.

I love my crackberry Bold. I think its the 9700.
|
I have a Bold also, and I think it's the best blackberry I've owned. It doubles as a modem so you can surf with your lappy even if ur not in a hotspot
|
I may go look at the HTC Hero with Google they have for $99.99.
Crackberry's are not out of the question at all though. I am still open to suggestion and opinions and input. |
HTC Hero for shizzle. Wipes the floor with all those other phones

HTC Incredible, wipes the floor with the Hero lol.

HTC Incredible would have been my first recommendation, but i don't think you can get that on Sprint. He would probably want to look at something like the EVO. Not to mention the Hero and Evo would both require dataplans, etc. All android phones have a screen lock feature, so thats definitely something you'll like. The Evo should cost something like 80 a month and 199 or 299 with a 2yr contract. It will be 4G and it basically will be faster than everything out right now because of the 4G networks... But its very similar to the Incredible and Nexus one. But it does have videochat, etc. |
