Custome HeatSinks

1. alu rods from homedepot ....they're easy to cut...
2. 3m 8815
3. dremel metal cutting disk and a dremel rotary tool

Simple elegance.

I like it.

If you feel inspired could you try scouring the exposed side with some low grit sandpaper (say 40 grit) to see if the increased surface area lowers temps any?

If I ever design another custom pot, I've been toying with the idea of high grit sandblasting it inside to increase surface area. If I still had an F1 I'd try it with that.

Looks like a viable alternative to buying those pesky sinks.
