Anyone know where it is?

There's a Doberman breeder down there, K9Stud.com. Almost sounds like a puppy mill though.

Yep sure do. London is right off of I-75 is southeast KY. I used to go through there all the time. It is about 1 to 1.5 hours away from me. The actual town is ok I guess but the area is redneck central. Very close by is a town called Manchester but it is nicknamed gunchester and for good reason. You don't want to be there when the sun goes down.

somehow I believe you ain't joking about that partner ... Don't think I'll be making that drive... if I thought they were quality pups, I'd do it and bring Mr. Smith & Wesson along just in case ;)

Hehe I can't say if its a puppy mill or not. I betcha you could easily find some champion coon hound breeders there though. I guess it really matters on how far out in the country the guy lives if I would go or not.

If you do come we could meet up and bench though :)

Here is how close I am to London. Actual drive time is more like 1 1/2 hours vs the 2 hours it says. Stupid mapquest. :P

They offer "escort" service from the Hwy to London, which from what you're saying, may not be simply a business nicety :scared:

Don't get me wrong, there are some great people in this part of the state (SE KY). Just simple country people. There are also some redneck MF'ers down here too. There are hollows that I know not to travel after dark where I'm at. Well without a weapon you don't. :laughing: It's quite common around here to say you are from Pikeville because who in the hell knows where beefhide, KY is?

With them offering an escort service it sounds like they might live out in the country a piece. That's not always bad, but I still wouldn't hang out there all day and get stuck out in the woods at night with out of state tags. I'm guessing they claim to be from London because you can atleast mapquest that. They probably live a few miles out of London though. If you think they have quality pups I would go for it. If it don't work out you are only an hour from Lexington and maybe an 1 1/2 from Knoxville, TN. Both are very beautiful places to see. :thumbsup:

IME most breeders live way way way out of town, in the middle of nowhere :P This guy is advertising more litters of pups available year round than any other breeder I've looked at.... doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies. They are about 1/3 the price of other breeders ... not usually a good thing :blink:

If I ever get down there though, we'll drink some whiskey and bench our butts of for awhile :)
