update on LN2 for kiki =)

so i went down to the welding company today down in downtown nashville

i was just talking to there manger and all...
started with $4 /L and now he's cool giving it to me $1.5 /L seems pretty good... idk...
anyone got better ideas?

the dude was helping me don't work there anymore... (dude got a better job, he was doing it for $17 /30L :rofl)

and they are ok for me to use it there..
so should be those guys rolling out the BIG DEWAR and go directly in to my pot  yeah?!
non of that transporting bullshit :D
0 distance in transporting = more LN2 for me

BTW how low should DICE take a Core 2 Duo E6300 down to?
cuz seems like F1EE only took it down -66~69ish
but that's only in BIOS tho... i went to the welding company today and they don't sale the thermometers i was like WTF you guys sales LN2 but not thermometers?
oh well...

but yeah.. is that right?
~66 to 69ish almost 0~0.5C temp swing @ 3.01 @ 1.3V

is it my mounting or is that stander?

Hondacity 09-27-2010 12:58 PM

nice..the cpu is reporting the right temps..you can put 1.5-1.6v on it....

the mount is crucial...

if you remove the pot..how does your paste look like? make sure its really thin...

as for ln2..still kinda pricey...

On DI you can put waay more than 1.5/6 no?
On SS I found the best results were around 1.7ish, I tend to keep upping volts until no gain.

You live in or around Nashville kiki?

Hondacity 09-27-2010 02:08 PM

drnip

brentwood Tn its on his location info hehehe

george

1.5/1.6v is ok on dice ....luihed from philippines did great runs with dice... look up his profile in hwbot...

how cold is your singlestage?

GeorgeStorm 09-27-2010 02:24 PM

Not very tbh
No longer has the temp probe, as took it off of it for my pot
But its probs in the -30s for most of the time
Almost all my results are with it, and if you look at the voltages
They vary, for instance, with the e2160, I used 1.8v, as it kept scaling up to around there.

Hondacity 09-27-2010 02:37 PM

the 65nm chips can take higher voltages..but i'm just suggesting moderate voltages for our new guy..hehehe
