is 6 cores better than 4 in 3d benchmarks?

It sounds to me like kind of a stupid question, but you never know.

06 and Vantage for sure, have not played much with Heavan or 3DM 11 yet.

Thanks, what about 03 and 05?

Hondacity 01-08-2011 05:35 PM

try the bench...i don't think 6 cores versus 4 cores...really affect 05 and 03

Vantage at around the same clocks gets 30K on my 960 and 43K on the hex

that's a pretty solid answer there.

Thanks guys.

it effects 01 right?

GFDuke 01-10-2011 11:26 PM

01, not really. I've seen good results with 06, Vantage and Aquamark.

Splave 01-12-2011 08:53 PM

01 aq3 05 and 03 heaven = no need for more than 2 cores
06 vantage = more cores the better

05 and aq3 and 06 after a certain point on your gpu are actually cpu tests
03 heaven vantage 11 all gpu.
