Sandy Bridge Windows 7 SP1

I thought I borked my chip as I lost about 200 MHZ, I just happened to come across something at Xtremesystems, I do not know if its true, just something to look out for. http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...&postcount=930 Might only effect certain benches... |
Interesting, wut dee hell is AVX? (Adult Video Xtreme?)
|
One of the many extensions which make up the new SSE standard. AVX is what makes sandy clit as fast as 6 core westmeres at video encoding work. Bulldozer is supposed to use the complete set of extensions and fully support the SSE 4.x or 5 (can't remember) instruction set.
