before i kill myself...
anyone here know what is the best way to clean vaseline off a motherboard?
i cleaned most of it off already with hair drier but there is still enough on there that's super nasty and hot glue will not even stay on and no where for me to put all the vr it just sux all around! cuz the vr already broke off the motherboard twice already and if i keep on breaking it off it's gonna yank the thing off the board and then THAT would suck some real ass! i been reading up about it and people are saying rubbing alcohol works well but will it work on motherboards? (the motherboard came with about 10LB of vasline on it anyone know where did this mobo came from? :P) so anyone? |
Gimme three guesses and I'll have an equal chance of being right. :P Just go get some electrical parts cleaner and hose that baby down.

Yikes ....
Acetone posibly |
Acetone is a little strong...
|
Turn it upside down in the dishwasher, place a little weight on it to prevent it from being tossed around and run it through a cycle. Dry and try...

Electrical parts cleaner guys. It has enough acetone in it to break away the grease. Plus it dries super fast like acetone or alcohol.
