what liquid to use

i been wondering why nobody used 100% medical alcohol as coolant than water?
cuz normal water always have a chance growing bacteria in it
or am i missing anything?

You can, but there are some good reasons not to. Aside from its combustible nature, alcohol will degrade the pump and your fittings gaskets.

Or you could just go to the pet store and buy the stuff they use to stop bacteria in fish tanks. Just a few drops in your loop will do it. I dont use water in my loop. I use windshield washer fluid and Prestone Dex cool. But i still add a few drops of anti bacterial. never had a problem with algea growth.
