IE8 issues..
 

Ok this is the second time I've downloaded IE8 from microsoft update. Both times I am unable to click on links in the forum here. I can click on them, but they will not open the link up. I have been through all the internet and security options and can't seem to find what would cause this. I like the feel of the browser but this sucks!! Anyone got a clue?

Nope. I know with IE8 I couldn't edit my post at EVGA. I am a FireFox guy.

Dunno, haven't had a single issue with it thusfar.

Dunno man. I just can't get into ff. I guess I just don't like to change my ways.

Well aren't you freakin special? :cool1: Actually with a quick google search, it seems that IE8 is buggy as hell and there are several hits with the same issue. It seems like it's hit or miss if it's gonna work. It just sucks cause I kinda like the feel of it compared to IE7.

Ok now the stupid browser works. Oh well lets see what other bugs are out there. Keeping it for now though.


Oh yeah supes. IDK how the hell you got into UT3 but it SUCKS!! I downloaded the free full game for the weekend from steam and I just don't like the gameplay. Sorry.

Are people actually playing UT3 now? With all the issues previously the servers were always empty.


As for IE8 John, I haven't had any issues with my gaming pc but I have all add-on shitware disabled and DO have sp2 installed. On my laptop I use Opera but I did install IE8 just to keep the os up to date.

Um a shit ton of servers were online. Must be alot of peeps like me trying it out this weekend. Definitely not worth the 10 bucks it's selling for :rofl

I don't know what it was. I always go and set shit to what I want. I don't like Micrsoft to pick anything for me. Works now though and I like it.

I like the game quite alot, u need to play with the mutators. What game type were you playing? Onslaught? Deathmatch? etc?

I prefer Onslaught, it's very competitive. I'm 99% sure u didn't like it cuz u suck and have no idea how the weapons work.
