Problem in setting the 12G Dominator CMG6GX3M3A2000C8 to 2000mHZ
 
Hi everyone,

Using the ET6 i manage to OC my CPU easily at 4.16GHz, but with the ram at 1600mHz only.


Can anyone help me to crack this problem, as im a newbie to OC........... :Dizzy:

set the memory manual in bios, also the timings and RAM voltage to 1.66v.

Take a divider of mem, that you're mem comes around 2000Mhz or just a little less.

that should work. ET6 sucks big time

Might need to really boost VTT to get all 12GB running at 2000 MHz

Also not all CPUs will be capable of pushing that fast with that many slots filled

EDIT: Also the 975E defaults to 6.4GT QPI speed, when bus clocking that gets pushed up, few cpus can handle going much past 8 GTs

This also will require more VTT/IOH core among others (little rusty on X58 )
