MIVE P67 Error Code Help
 

Anybody know WTF is going on with 06 debug

keep getting it, book says microcode loading ???

it just hangs there. reset BIOS no help used 2nd BIOS with the same result

Any one know how to fix this or is the board wasted :ohcrap:

Don't remember having probs with 06 Bro - I had issues with 19 and 25 which eventually resolved itself. Reboot a few times at default settings and see if yours resolves itself too..

been down that road working on about 30 tries on both BIOS chips

It just blows man ........ can\t swing a new board right now spent all cash on those Lightnings :shock:

06? do any of the side led's light up?

yes they do . looks like it will boot then once it gets to 06 it just hangs there ???

did you pull the battery an all that jazz? Also try differant ram slots with 1 stick, maybe reseat the cpu. Im not sure just suggestions.

did not try reseating the CPU though, I will give it a try :thumbsup:

wierd though as it happened when switching vid card ... took the 580 out and put the 6970 in and bang there was the error

put the 580 back in and error is still there

I know the 6970 to be good as I was doing some testing on it a few weeks ago

As Splave explained to me when I was having my error code problems, the MIVE seems to have a tuff time dealing with system changes despite what you do in BIOS.

My error code problem literally disappeared after a few tries.. was really wierd... man :D

i got the 06 also on M4E once, when my 8750 lightning was dead.
All led's and fan of vga runs but mobo hangs on 06.

Vga was dead with me, maybe test vga in another rig?

Thanks, I will give that a try, but have tryied 4 different cards in the mive that were good cards previously
