i5 750 Dice run
 

Hey guys, haven't done hardly any OCing since the new HWbot rev. I was in need of a new car, which has been bought finally!!!
Anyway I thought I'd dig into my GF's old rig and see if I rememberd how to OC :blink:
Session went okay grabbed 15th place wPrime 1024M & 43rd in SuperPI 1M hitting just over 5GHz on Dice.

Gskill 2000mhz ram

Had a few questions.
Will dual channel MEM better than single?
I used Benchzoners CPU xp OS and cant get the CPU-z Validator to work on a different PC...
Any tips on some tweaks I might try for the next session, any input would help :good:

as far as single or double I am not sure. just try it both ways and see what gets the best resulkt

I'll have to re-session since I wasnt able to beat some of my WC records with this chip, also try 4GB and a different OS. My GD65 is really hard to beat with this Mirco, even with + 500mhz on the 750. Something is off just have to really dig into it.

nice setup of yours there, what kind of pot is that? how is it round on the top? looks like a F1EE with something on top of it

The pot is just a Koolance V2 with the nickel base sanded down to the copper for maximum response using DICE.
Its sucks using it with motherboards that have really close caps around the cpu socket since the base is huge, makes you double check for good mounts. But with the 1366 it holds temps very well.

I really miss overclocking a lot really, it's just right now skool is kicking my ass with 21hrs if class have no extra time and very short on cash, put two and two together it kills me.
