Memory upgrade on notebook - what a PITA

Just upgraded my ASUS ROG from 6 to 16GB since I'm using it as my main gamer right now... had to take the whole damned thing apart  Slots 1 and 4 on top of the mobo, slots 2 and 3 on the bottom :ohcrap:

Anyone interested in 3 x 2gb hynix 10600 so dimms?

Yeah, or take off an access panel on the back. Not with this one. You can add 1 DIMM to slot 4 by removing the keyboard, you cannot access slot 1, which is also on the top of the mobo without removing the entire upper body structure. To do that, you have to remove the screen. Slots 2 and 3 are on the back of the mobo and require removal of touch pad and the entire back panel. Probably about 20 screws all in all

They told me they suggest sending the notebook in to their service center for memory upgrades - they can :kissbutt:
