Dead or Alive?
Been meaning to ask for a while now, but just been so damn buzy in skool...
does x58 have any real benching values in them anymore? since ivy bitch is rolling out with z77 sets, it's got the potentially of replacing sandy bitch, also before the 2011 rolled around the corner 1366 was like the only chipset that's got more than 4 cores on a single chip which it would be nice for like wPrime or stuff that actually use muti core based benches... but now since everything is coming out, it seems more and more of a problem... |
makes a good gamer :D they can clock faster than the X79 but the X79's got more bandwidth ... Make it live Bro  |
Gottcha!

Great minds OCM :D

I think it is still the best 6 core platform as 2011 CPU's seems to struggle clocking as high as some of the top 980X's
I am not convinced the higher bandwidth makes up for such clock deficets But I have zero in hands experience with 2011 :ohcrap: Quads forget it, X58 = RIP |
