Traded the Ninja
Lets face it, with a bad set of knees I got tired of riding the ole Kawi Ninja. I don't ride as hard as I did 10 years ago so all that rpm was going to waste.
So.......... traded her in for a cruiser. An HD 48. http://i464.photobucket.com/albums/r...048/481oca.png http://i464.photobucket.com/albums/r...048/483oca.png http://i464.photobucket.com/albums/r...048/484oca.png http://i464.photobucket.com/albums/r...048/482oca.png In the process of chopping it and making it my own. Now I'm happy and riding everyday again. :D |
WOW! swaggville.

Sweet ride there dude
Personally, I'd rather ride an HD than a Japanese made bide. An HD is a machine and all business... Japanese bikes are plastic... IMO at least, don't own a bike myself  |
Id love to see kal ride on it, would like a kid on a big wheel rofl!
Pretty sweet dude! Before you know it your future 18 year old son will be asking for the keys! ;) |
Can ya ride it in the submarine? You need to get stationed on an aircraft carrier so you can ride it on the flight deck. lol
Nice bike dude. |
nice bike but not my type i should be fixing my ninja some time this yr or next :)

On another note. I did not pick up the 48 because it was HD or made in USA. It just fit my needs, ( bad knees, fwd controls please) and I'm a sucker for a fat front tire. TBH, if you would have asked me a year ago if I'd ever get a cruiser I would have told you, "Hell No! Cruisers are for old people" lol. Quote:

BTW, still have intake & exhaust to work on. At the moment they are still stock. I punched out the baffles in the exhaust today to get a bit more noise coming out of the pipes. She is just way to quiet as she sits.
Also removed the springs out of the springer seat and added rubber stoppers. Pulled the struts back off and installed the original coil springs today. Wow, what a better ride now. Yeah, I love the old school but do like the more comfortable ride now. ;) |
