120 Hz
As many know I just moved, love the new digs and all but had a casualty unfortunatly.
My kick ass IPS HP 24" monitor fell and cracked the screen :ohcrap: Been playing BF3 latly so I decided to move my 27" sammy to the new benching area I am making and just hit the buy button on the Ben Q XL2420TX This is a 24" 120 Hz 3D capable gaming monitor, after research it seems they say the picture is not that good but has good 2D and 3D preformance and very low input lag as opposed to my Sammy that is a bit less than ideal for gaming but has done a decent job of it. Decided to go with 24" as the dot pitch on a 1080 27" screen does not seem to have the sharpest image quality, anyway that is what's new here, looking forward to some 3D action and increase 2D frames for multi player http://gaming.benq.com/gaming-monitor/xl2420t |
sucks man :( sorry to hear

I wouldn't go for 3D, especially if you own an AMD Radeon HD card because of the passive 3D tech. and their driver shortcomings in most games.
A good ( doesn't have to be 120Hz, especially if you're only playing FPS like BF3 you don't need Vsync, neither 120Hz monitors ) 24-27" 2D monitor is all you need. |
Already bought it, we will see this 3D tech up close and personal, but the 120 Hz is what I really got it for and of course Crysis 3 in 3D..........
http://www.crysis.com/us/adaptivewar...warfare_google I have 2x 580's in the gamer so I am hoping they will push the frames |
damn dude that sux!
but i am really surprised how cheap(er) they are now... |
My G53 has a 3D screen and glasses that came with it. NOW I might have to use it

Sorry about the dropped screen dude.
Once I get back from deployment I'll be PMing you for input on the latest and greatest gaming screen ;) |
