Me wants laser brain
|
funny you brought that up, I've been building a laser that's 1W rated, the only difference it's that my is a 808nm instead of being like the 473 or 450nm blue ones, the 808nm is a IR based so you can't see it which it makes it extra dangerous for people who have no idea what they are doing.
and i also happens to have a 980nm unknown power diode with a titanium casing which would be really fun to build too This is the picture with the 808nm and some of the housing i got  now just working on the part where i stick the driver into the casing and having it to stay :keeporder: http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...33831570_n.jpg This is the 980nm one http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...s/P1010008.jpg Also PS the greens ones are just the 808nm with a crystal to reflect it into a 532nm wavelength which you can find on ebay or something but you get ripped off if you don't know if it's good or not |
Oh yes, extremely dangerous if handled incorrectly, irreversible damage can occur, a lifetime of "ah man, I wish I didn't do that". But cool as hell.

yes sir!
