Monitor vs HDTV
So whats the difference? I have been looking for a decent 120hz monitor thats reasonably priced. There are hdtv's that are 120hz that are lower in price than monitors that are 120hz. Would they perform just as well?

Input lag is the deal breaker on using TV's for monitors
I have a buddy that usesd a 55" Samsung, it does OK but I could not deal with it personally Especially when things heat up, racing games are unplayable IMO http://www.squidoo.com/best-gaming-tv Looks like Plasma is best |
Thanks for that info Doc.

side note: If your monitor is not HDMI compliant/certified it will not play the newer HD content without the HDMI cert. So even if your monitor is 2560x1600 like my Apple 30" Cinema, Itunes will still tell you to go buy an HDMI compliant monitor. Horseshit I know. Even my old big screen rear projection, clear as hell, doesnt have the newere HDMI b.s. so I suck eggs at standard resolution when HD is available.
