Sure looks pretty to me  Price not too bad either, considering :D

I'll be damned if I can follow the plumbing though :Dizzy:

looks lie theres two loops 480 is for the gpus and the 360 on top is for mb and cpu

wish i had a rig like that

Witchdoctor 02-05-2013 10:32 AM

should have used Crystal link on the GPU's so you could see the red goo

The top is a 480 too ..........

The return for the MB must be behind the MB

Top rad down --> CPU --> Mosfet block ---> Res --Top GPU --- 2nd/3rd GPU --> Bottom rad ---> Pump -- 2nd res -->

I guess after that back to rad1

Although that loop is not functional since the res should be attached to the intake port of the pump not the output...

EDIT: Found a larger pic, there is two pumps and hte special pump top for dual pumps. Its still oriented incorrectly.

Witchdoctor 02-05-2013 01:40 PM

it's right .......

pump/res/sorce/rad/pump on both loops :)

Neuromancer 02-06-2013 11:14 AM

The res is attached to output of pumps. It might function but it is not "right" how would you bleed the loop? As soon as you uncap the res the loop would stop n'est-ce pas?

Hmm actually it would drain the loop as it would be forcing water into the res, but without the pressure of an air tight seal it would not be forced out through the res's tubing...

Witchdoctor 02-06-2013 12:21 PM

Hmmm,,,,,,,,,,,,

Edit:

Sorry Rich, the res is passive

think about it and you will see what I mean

Picture a bucket of water with no lid, as long as the water level is above the intake and outtake it remains passive

I do understand what your though process is here, one could argue the loop would drain onto the res, and even overflow it, but with the lack of air behind it gravity is just an idea.

Example.

Take a straw, dip it into your soda, when you pull it out their is no soda in the straw, leaving density out of the equasion.

Now if you put your finger over the end of a straw and pull it out the gravitaional pressure measured at 14PSI and change is not present, hence you see the soda is still in the straw & you can get a nice cold drink with out picking up the glass ......

Not sure if this makes any sense at all though and I may just be babeling ............ :ohcrap:

I can fit a Feser 3x140 in the top of my 800D, but not quite a quad (close though). If i cut out the bottom drive bays I could fit a 240, but wtf good is that :P Too bad it costs so much :ohshit:
