Xigmatech "Thor's Hammer"

Picked up this cooler to be part of the "Air" testing phase before giving motherboard's the seal of approval. I chose this cooler because the mount listed said both "S1366" & "S775".

Here are some product images since they take such nicer pics than me:

First impressions of the overall looks are impressive. The rubber fan mounts look good. After fumbling around a few days procrastinating, I realized that this mount system isn't really what I was looking for in a quick "Air" test system, but that was my bad in choice. I'm a quick-change sorta guy, thus all the koolance quick disconnects in my rigs. Alas, I'll be firing her up soon and running an E8600 thru its paces on a REX. Will post back soon.

That is a very nice looking cooler.

But that mounting system looks very hard to get setup correctly.

Looking at the Classified I can where it would almost impossible to tighten those mounting screws with that little wrench.

I like the way the V8 is mounted, tighten up the mounting screws from the back side makes it very easy to do.

I'm gonna see if some of the other water cooling mount stuff, screws plates that will make this an easier "quicky" h/s for me.

Sry Marc, got caught up in another build. So far with this h/s I get 28ish idle @ 4.5ghz and 1.3vCore and around 55c load I believe it was. Bench stable but limited extensive testing done.
