HTC Hero aka G1 Touch
 

Anyone seen this phone comin this summer? Some say it is the G1 Touch as it looks real similar to the G1 but with a touch screen. Thinkin I am goin to fire ATT as I am gettin way sick of there service and goin back to T-Mobile.

I believe that's the new G2... but I think your right, they are calling it the touch. I might upgrade cause the G1 rocks, but I already have the G2 OS on it so I really don't need too.

The cool thing about this one is you can you your fingers like with the iphone, and spread them out to zoom in on a web page unlike the 1st gen g1 were you had to tap the screen to zoom in on the web page. Also it has a pelethera of apps for G1 like the iphone. I really liked my friends G1 and this one only looks to be better. I said I would prolly fire ATT but am positive I will as I am tired of the daily dropped calls.

Yup.... I can do that on my G1 with the new OS. All kinds of other better features too.:thumbsup:

this phone looks preety sweet... i ended up going with the htc touch pro 2 simply because i wanted windows mobile for openvpn... dunno if this phone supports it? htc ftw
