The Abarth version is surprisingly fun to drive, even though the suspension's kinda tough on passengers. I got it to teach my daughter to drive a manual tranny, and to stop putting senseless high mpg miles on the surburban shuttling myself around.
Now I like taking the serpentine backroad routes home. My wife and I even prefer it (over the Infiniti) for driving out to dinner. Much easier to park downtown.
But you're right, Witchie. That's why I just bought an old high mile Volvo wagon for my daughter to putter around .
