Buckeye, I've changed the way the database stores data. The new posts function is actually working correctly now but its been the board has been reset so you'll see several pages of new posts until they expire.
Once you've clicked on a new posts and viewed it, its no longer a new posts. But you should be able to find posts which occurred within the last 24hours in the "Today's" posts link.
