Wouldn't count on it, Intel has no incentive to change things as it only effects a tiny percentage on users. Would certainly be nice though, I'd love to have a use for my GTR/GTS.
On the Asus board, not a huge fan of the color scheme but at least it's better than the old gigabyte one. Decent PCI-E spacing also, not quite as good as the EVGA but close.
