Well in preparation of finishing off my i7 (I am ordering the RAM on Friday, will post in a nother thread about that
) I pulled my 4890, and popped in the 2400XT LP card I have.
Installing v64, because this is my 24/7 rig and mojave is not for me (yet, I like being cutting edge, but it will be instlaled on my benching rig, not my main, I just want it to work rig )
Now the 2400XT I know does not support OCing. Was wondering if installing Display driver only, no CCC would allow me to use a soft clocker to try and nab some boints while I wait for my i7 to arrive
Or can i install CCC and still use a soft clocking utility.
Will look around at my junk piles to see what I can to mod this card for better cooling later
Just want to try out a little benching while I wait.
