The day intel goes after someone for "possessing" an ES chip I will jump off a building. They would have to sue literally thousands of people, not to mention how would they even know who has one? Intel cant ask for a chip back if they dont know you have one.

Selling them might get you in trouble with Intel, but not b/c of the sale. Intel could ask you for the ES chips that they gave to you back and if you dont produce them, thats what could get you into trouble. But that trouble would usually mean intel just doesnt give you ES chips anymore, not a lawsuit.

I have owned, bought and sold plenty of ES chips myself (on ebay no less), no trouble here. QX6850, E8500, E8400, etc... I wouldnt believe everything DrWho states on XS. He's blowing smoke up ppl arses trying to scare them. Also regarding ebay if Intel sees you selling one, all they can do is have ebay take the auction down. They have no recourse against you.
