That is neat. I would think that the "closed loop" principle would not work on the AC unit as it adds too much resistance decreasing efficiency. Since it worked so well for you I guess not

Sidenote though. Since you built a box for the AC unit, you could also just have built your PC into the AC box. No need for ducting then and might even help a degree or two since you will not be warming the air running it through a couple feet of uninsulated dryer ducting
