I have upgraded with OCing in mind and competition over the last few years, since I joined here though it got much worse LOL
Actually the only thing I miss about the i7 setup, was there is not way for me to compete in 3d without one. Even with one, it was tough to do. 2D global boints were pretty much the same. I can still do HW boints though.
I am glad that I never shipped off this AMD setup, since it is still kicking it and more than enough for gaming
(Dragon age Origins I have yet to see CPU or GPU top 70% load when I monitor it on the second screen, which really surprised me)
