In fact it's my first serious unit. It took a lot of time to build this, but it wasn't wasted time
Just an ordinary, quite strong SS. I'm pretty satisfied with the results (-41C @ 250W, -46C @ 180W, -54C @ idle). Maybe it can be tuned a little better (it also depends on where K-type probe is located, I've drilled small hole on the top of evap, bcoz for now I'm mostly interested in overclocking, not the lowest temperature
). I've tested it few days ago, and on E8400 @ 5,2GHz 1,8v there was something like -48C what is nice
Compressor - Teco KETC176 10755 btu
Condenser - 25x25x5cm, 4x 120x38 mm Nidec fans (10V, 0.5A each)
Suction line - 80 cm long, 19 mm thick insulation
Evap - stepper, 42 mm diam, 40 mm, my production
Expansion valve - 0,8 mm captube
Refrigerant - pure R507
Baseplate - stainless, 35x50 cm
Some frost (about -54C on idle)
