Ran 4 X 285s, 3 of which are water cooled hydro coppers that are at 720 factory stock. The 4th was a 285 Classified that was air cooled and comes factory stock at 675. So I ran all 4 at the hydrocoppers stock speeds. The 3 HCs easily clock over 800 but the Classy doesn't like to get that hot. Played with the voltage on the classy but it gave me more trouble than it was worth. If I ever do this again, I'll strap a WB or pot to the side of the classy so it can compete.
As it turns out, only difference it made was I lost out on 1/2 boint cause there ain't no boints to be made in this category. Had a 4 way board, 1 dead 480, so I thought I'd take advantage of the sitchyation and play a little
You can see I removed the cover from the classy and strapped some fans to the heatsinks - the black ones a 125cfm delta and it did a pretty good job...
