Edit: Sorry for the poor sense of humor. Sometimes I forget that Marine humor doesn't always work in the real world. Honestly I can't afford the top of the line Corsair's. Plus I think the premium is rediculous for the name. Good memory, crappy price.

When I first started building rigs ram was going for somewhere in the neighborhood of $90 for 1MB SIMMs. that was for 120 nanosecond, if you wanted the good stuff - the 80 nanosecond, the cost went up to about $130 per 1MB SIMM.
Extrapolate that out now to DDR3 or 5 and what we're paying for memory is dirt cheap
20MB HDD - $400.

That is crazy expensive, but neither here nor there. I thank and feel sorry for you pioneers of the PC market. Shit was truly outrageous back then.
