Grease the socket with vaseline.
Some of the anal insulators have recommended not to, but the fact is that the GPU PCB gets very cold and water drips right down into the socket. And those that say that you just need to "keep it frozen so it doesn't drip" live in a fairy land of constant cold temperatures without CB/CBB where there is a mythical barrier between "cold enough to be frozen" and "too warm to condense liquid". I don't care how cold you keep the card, there will always be a transition zone where ice is no longer ice.
