Your first two games rule out getting a mac for sure. What resolution monitor do you plan on getting and how picky are you with eye candy? Plus if you do a ton of CS5 work that's gonna pretty much put you in the i7 category because the triple channel and amount of ram will help.

The new AMD's are formidable for a daily rig and gamer. I think so anyways.
