As the new guy this year it'll certainly be interesting. A little disappointed to see the lack of 3D benches making it unnecessary to run multi-container setups and the SC based memory but what can you do.

All I did to get invited was pretty much just ask...

At the time (late May IIRC) I had absolutely no relationship with Giga and had never spoken to anyone there before. Just fired off an email to the marketing email on their site asking for info on the NA event and asking to be considered if invites hadn't been determined yet. After that things worked out from there and I got invited and had a chance to review the UD9.

Looking forward to meeting new people there, just look for the young one , it'll probably be me.

Deux your gonna rock man, dont worry about it
Really looking forward to meeting you man

Main reason I see for no 3D this year is it saves time for prepping. We only have a limited amount of time to do anything there. Last year I saw guys waste all there time with the GPU stuff and mess it all up. Crap my stock air cooled gpu beat most of them.

As prolly the oldest there LOL I can gice you a little advise. Sit back and watch all teh jack fruits get freaking dunk at the dinner and be fools, and hung over the next day. Be very greatful to the hosts, be a gental man to them. Show a little class and you will be noticed by Giga.

Come bench time, ignore everyone else, fucus on your game. You will have a 2 hour bench time to run 2 benches, break, then another 2 hour bench time for 2 more benches.

Get scores up !

While others think they have no shot unless they are running at 6.0ghz+ and screw themselves, a 5.7ghz run can take the cake. This is not benching at home, but a fast paced shot to kill event. If you dont get scores up you cant win.

This is one of the most fair and balanced comps to be in, all setups are the same.

Enjoy it and have fun
