Have to chime in with the other guys: Thermometer is an absolute MUST. You need to know where you're cold bugging.
And try to get a mini 3 inch iron anvil to have near you when you bench. I usually get an extra 100 mhz out of my clocks when I do. Sounds crazy, but it makes more sense than glazing your pot.
