They do things right here near Phoenix. BBQ, chili-infused margaritas and all day swimming followed by legal fireworks in front of the house. 112 degrees, dry as a bone, and you only need to be 16 to buy em in the grocery store. Glad my kids got a little taste of my childhood.
Where I live now they don't trust a 60 year old with a sparkler.

This 4th was teh most mellow (or boring) 4th of July ever in the history of 4th of July's. You see........they blanket banned Fireworks this year

Now if they'd do something to prevent people from shooting each other with guns, I woulda had a really nice and mellow 4th of July, instead I spent the greater part of the day typing.
