Good to know. If nothing else, run those sticks on auto settings and see where it puts your subtimings, and then you could pop in your hypers and loosen them up a little bit there but still keep your tight mains.
Kids are gone, so I nlited an XP OS. stripped out all non essential stuff but left all 3D and media related stuff in as well as most of the networking.
Need to look up a couple of more tweaks, going to try leaving it in IDE mode instead of AHCI, might hurt storage performance, but should reduce CPU load. In theory at least
