No it was not Corsairs problem... You are where I was a month ago. I thought Kingston had a problem so I chose Corsair... It is the chip supply that the brands are getting to put in their RAM.

I think what has happened is we as "Higher end" users want the latest and greatest yesterday. And what we have have in our systems right now is nice but not as good as what they have coming out.

This causes commitments to be made by several suppliers to the manufacturers, that they can meet the demand. Well everything has a window or margin of error for things out of controllable realm. And this window is always being reduced.

And that has allowed for products to be introduced and available faster and faster every launch!

Well I think what that has caused is our demand to be to greater, and the technology that we have become accustomed to getting faster than we can spend money has finally caught up....

They need to fix this silicon issue and bring the parts out ready to rock... Not have a % of failure that is OK with them. Because this % seems to get bigger and bigger with each launch and now they have to pay for this piss poor management of the consumer desire vs a quality, ready for retail product.

Any failure over 1% is unexceptionable. Period.

It is the chips that are failing, not the testing of the brands. The Brands had better go back to their suppliers and demand the quality to be #1 not beating or meeting a desired product launch date....
