1) bad advice.

Lithium batteries will burst into flame if shorted and the flames are not extinguishable by normal means. For RC cars Lithium batteries are suggested to be charge and is charged in a special bag and for the very cautious putting that bag in a sand filled container.
EDIT: Also that whole column of the Periodic table of elements reacts violently to water. Lithium being one of the weakest. Francium and Cestium (Spell check is telling me is cesium) I think are the most intense... (8th grade science I might be way off)
2) skip to 3:55 for the only decent commercial. I would tell you about it but I have to go do something...
