Im thinking the sf3d method is pretty interesting, he places the ihs less chip in the socket then places the ihs back on properly and holds in place while clamping down the hold down bracket. That way you can change the TIM over and over again but still get the pressure of the bracket.
I can just see myself fucking up the silicone and not being able to get it back off to fix it lmao
